Herb Flowers Mix
Sage flowers, Lavender, Angelica Flowers, Mustard Flowers and Thyme Flowers. Great as a garnish or on a salad.
Green Pea Tendrils
Green Pea Tendrils are as sweet as the peas themselves! They are a nutritionally dense food, packed with many of the same minerals as other green leafy vegetables. They are a good source of beta carotene, Vitamin C, folate, and fiber.
Zucchini Blossoms
The golden-orange blossoms of the zucchini plant, predecessor to the zucchini vegetable, are a delicacy in both Mediterranean and Latin American cuisines. These bright summer flowers have a delicate, earthy flavor with grassy undertones that pairs best with cheese-based ingredients. Zucchini blossoms also make a wonderful garnish for soups and rice salads.
Ocean Mix
A combination of ocean related micros such as, sea beans, sea grass, iceplant, verdolaga, and benitade with an array of flavors ranging from anise to citrus to salty. Pairs especially well with scallops, oysters, mussels, and sea bass.
Firestix
Firestix™ are the brightly colored flowers of the amaranth plant. The blossoms have a delicate, plume-like appearance and can be purple, magenta, red, gold and green in color. Its woody stems are approximately 15 centimeters in height. The flowers are entirely edible and have a neutral flavor that is mildly reminiscent of corn silk. The blossoms are also quite hardy and will retain their vibrant color and texture when exposed to heat or steam.
Mini Crown Snow Crystal
Durable and long lasting, this shiny garnish pairs perfectly with seafood. Its crispy texture and unique flavor makes it a great addition to salads and sandwiches.
Pansies
Both the leaves and flowers of pansies and violas are edible and high in vitamins A and C. The flowers impart a strong flavor and have been used for garnishes and in salads.
Petite Watercress Pink Ice
Small in size and flat, broad, rounded leaves with pale green, crisp stems. The circular leaves are smooth, wide, and have a unique coloring beginning with dark green centers that fade into bright purple to violet edges. There is also a central, semi-prominent light green vein that branches into a few smaller veins across the surface. Petite® Watercress Pink Ice™ is delicate and tender with a light crunch and has a fresh, peppery flavor.
Orchids
Did you know there are more than 25,000 documented orchid species throughout the world? The plant’s flowers won’t appear until at least 5 to 7 years after germination. The houseplants you find in stores are often a decade old. Orchids are ideal for use as décor on cakes, pastries, salads and fruit or cheese boards. Orchids can also be used to garnish drinks.
